ABOUT THE OWNER.

I’m Queen, the founder and creative behind Notcha Matcha.
My entrepreneurial journey began long before Notcha Matcha, in the world of TV & Film. A career I built around creativity, storytelling, and bringing ideas to life. But after years in the industry, I found myself burnt out and craving something different. During that time, I spent a lot of time exploring coffee shops, looking for a place where I could slow down, enjoy a really good matcha, and simply experience something special. But I often left disappointed by the quality, the inconsistency, and the lack of an experience that made me want to come back.I wanted to create again, but this time, I wanted to create something that felt like me. And that's where Notcha Matcha began. What started as an idea became my way of creating the experience I had been looking for! Better-quality matcha, consistent flavor, creativity, community, and a space where people can come as they are and leave with a smile on their face. I launched Notcha Matcha in my hometown of Augusta, Georgia, the place where my story began. And because Atlanta has been my second home and played such a major role in shaping the woman I am today, it only felt right to bring Notcha there, too. Notcha Matcha is more than a business to me. It represents what can happen when you give yourself permission to start again, follow your curiosity, and create something that feels true to who you are. It’s a reflection of where I’ve been, where I come from, and where I’m going and I’m so grateful to share the journey with you, one matcha at a time.
